Who is Kalysa?
Hey love, I’m Kalysa—aka The Pink Travelista—travel content creator, proud mom of a daughter and a son, boudoir-photographer-turned-globetrotter, and the girlie who always packs a pink robe and a camera (even for a weekend road trip).
For years, I was deep in the motherhood hustle—school drop-offs, packed lunches, late-night work emails… the whole thing. And while I cherished that season, once my babies became young adults and my 9–5 became remote, I realized something: I was long overdue to rediscover me.
I didn’t grow up hopping on planes. Just a few school trips here and there. So when I got the bold idea to start a travel agency, I had a moment like: wait... who am I to do this?
But deep down, I knew—I didn't need a passport full of stamps to start. I needed a purpose. So I created Retravo to reintroduce myself to the world and bring other women along for the ride.
Through solo travel, girlfriend getaways, cruise life, and road trip magic, I’ve been rewriting the story I once thought I was too busy—or too late—to live.
As a former boudoir photographer, I know what it’s like to feel unsure in front of the camera. That’s why I’m so passionate about helping women feel confident, powerful, and beautiful as they travel—not just in how they pose, but in how they show up for themselves.
